    Great place to stop! Lunch is from 12-2. We got there just before 2 and they were lovely about letting us order food anyway. Beautiful building and town

    For pub food it was very lacking... I was still hungry after my quiche and salad...the salad being about half a cup with a piece of tomato.. a piece of cucumber and 7 tiny spinach leaves...not much flavour in the quiche and the pesto pasta was delivered 15 minutes after the other meal and was rice not pasta.
    Not good enough.. sorry

    Service good. Specials board great value. I had the salmon and it was divine. Good little pub to enjoy a meal and a few beverages at.

    The food was excellent and the portions were huge.The accommodation was basic but clean, after all you are staying in a place over 150 years old.
